I hate sneaky car salesman, someone wasting my time, I like to get in and get out, I want to deal with someone who’s going to be straight up with me and tell me what they can and will do up front without the games. The folks at Holiday follow the owners lead, provide good service, be courteous, treat everyone with respect, and do all you can to earn folks business. My observation is they don’t care if you can write a check for the full amount or if you need financing, they treat everyone the same. I'm fuming right now. I called to make an appointment for a test drive at the Canoga Park Carmax. I gave them the car's stock number. They said to come in at 8PM for the test drive. Great! I get there at 8 on the dot, sign in... car doesn't seem to be ready. In fact, a salesperson doesn't see me until 8:30. We then take 15 minutes to process my insurance, copy my driver's license for the test drive, by now it's 8:45... and they say it's too late to do the test drive. Dude, I drove from West Hollywood for this friggin' test drive. 45 minutes there, 45 minutes at Carmax, and a 40 minute drive back... 2 HOURS AND 10 MINUTES of my life and I don't even get to drive the friggin' car?!? The manager said the only thing he could do is reschedule the test drive for the following day. I was on time. Why did I even bother scheduling a test drive? Sorry buddy, you lost a customer. Too bad, the car looked sweet too.
