Made appointment to check out car listed for $12,100. Of course when I arrive (on time), the car was on a lift being worked on. Had them lower it so I could at least sit in the car. Decided it was a great car at great price. Asked sales rep what the final/final price is - he said $15,356! Yes, that's correct, more than $3K over online price. The rep said the online price is just if you finance with them, in that case the final price would be just under $14,000 after all their fees (including the state sales tax). So the actual cost of the car is $1,000-$2,000 above what they listed the car for, depending if you use their financing. Been buying cars for over 30 years, never had an experience like this.
