I'm fuming right now. I called to make an appointment for a test drive at the Canoga Park Carmax. I gave them the car's stock number. They said to come in at 8PM for the test drive. Great! I get there at 8 on the dot, sign in... car doesn't seem to be ready. In fact, a salesperson doesn't see me until 8:30. We then take 15 minutes to process my insurance, copy my driver's license for the test drive, by now it's 8:45... and they say it's too late to do the test drive. Dude, I drove from West Hollywood for this friggin' test drive. 45 minutes there, 45 minutes at Carmax, and a 40 minute drive back... 2 HOURS AND 10 MINUTES of my life and I don't even get to drive the friggin' car?!? The manager said the only thing he could do is reschedule the test drive for the following day. I was on time. Why did I even bother scheduling a test drive? Sorry buddy, you lost a customer. Too bad, the car looked sweet too.

Went to see a car that was advertised online for $7400 when I get there although I called prior to going the car sticker price was $10,000 I discussed that and they stated I would get the car for what was advertised. I came with cash for purchase when I was given the final price after tax and all the gps equipment and other extra fees they added the car somehow still ended up 10,000 I was told the advertised price is what they purchase the car from the bank for and the sticker price is the actual price. They added on a GPS charge for $685 that they said I MUST pay taxes etc another $900 the price didn’t add up when I decided to leave they said they would work with me what was I willing to pay instated the advertised price that i saw online when the “Manager” came back they still tried to sell me the vehicle for 10,000 what was changed from the other two men who told me 10,000 NOTHING these ppl are [non-permissible content removed] buyers be ware they get you in and rip you OFF!

Being a first time buyer, and having my car recently break down beyond repair of what I could afford, my nerves were shot. My father visited this Norm Reeves Irvine location, since it was close by to where he works. He met Christopher and spoke to him about my unfortunate circumstances and he right away called me to get more details so we can go ahead and explore my options. Christopher was very knowledgeable and elaborated carefully every option so I could fully comprehend them, that really helped me feel confident about moving forward. I decided to go for a used car and to my unfortunate luck, days later the car was already showing some faults. I call Christopher right away, not knowing it was his day off, and he was very kind enough to take my call. I am very thankful for that. He apologized for the issues and not only did he assure me the techs would look at the vehicle as soon as they could, he got me into a borrowed car from the dealership so I didn't have to worry about driving back home or going to work in a car that needed to be checked by an auto technician. I then decided to purchase a new car instead, as Christopher advised it would give me a greater piece of mind and it really has. They both are an exceptional example of what serving others truly is and going above and beyond to making it right. I thank them both very much for turning this around and making this a great first buyer experience. I am truly grateful. I will be paying this kindness forward. Thank you!
