Sales reps are friendly enough, but sales managers are rude and take hard lines with customers. I set up an appointment, and the salesperson had the car ready to go on time, and was very communicative. I appreciated that. Day of testing comes, and the car is in decent but not great shape. These guys really take their time. It took 5+ hours to buy a car, cash. There is absolutely no reason we couldn't have been in and out in 1.5 hours, TOPS. They also demanded to run my credit report (resulting in a hard credit hit) when I was paying cash. Yikes. Everything here goes excruciatingly slow. Sales managers will not negotiate at all. They told me they sell over 350 used cars alone per month, so they treat you poorly and take their time with you. You're just a number here, and it shows. I can't wait to never shop here again, even though I plan on trading in this car and trading up and paying thousands more in the next 24 months. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Never again.

So I go on edmunds.com and find a vehicle after searching for a vehicle for me a disabled single parent of a disabled child. I see a vehicle on Edmond site that is a GMC 2011 model available for $4,500, and I communicated to the dealership that I am interested in buying this vehicle. I get a text message from a guy named Brandon asking me if we can communicate by text message, I inform him immediately yes because I want this vehicle, and I don't hear anything more from him or the dealership at all. I sent several messages after that asking him what was going on, and I don't hear anything! I tried to click on the link that I had to view the advertisement for the vehicle on the edmunds.com site, and it is gone! The vehicle was available when Brandon reached out to me, but then suddenly it's gone! If you have a customer pending waiting to come look at the vehicle and purchase the vehicle you tell the people to call after him that hey we have somebody that's interested in looking at the vehicle so you'll have to wait until we know what they're going to do! This company has no ethics for it to have done what it is done and ignore me and my communications with them! I would not recommend any parent ever go to this company to buy a vehicle, and any parent that has a disabled child that buys a vehicle from this company after reading this review, should feel more than ashamed of themselves for help supporting a company that would leave a disabled bad in the position that I am in with a disabled child after having communicated with them about buying a vehicle that they sold after I had told them I was interested in it!

I am royally ticked at this being the WORST dealership I have ever stepped into in my entire life. I called an hour ahead (because I live an hour away) to see a vehicle that was listed on multiple seller websites, excited about the price and specs of the car as well as the fact that I had a certified Nissan to trade in as a bargaining chip. Not only did I NOT get to see the car, Daniel RAN MY CREDIT without my permission. He didn't even OFFER to let me see the car. Mind you, the running of my credit happened within 15 minutes of me walking across the dealership's threshold. With my ID in hand, I thought Daniel was looking up my information on the car I was interested in trading in (seeing as I bought it at a Nissan dealership). Instead of actually showing me the car I was drove to see first, his primary concern was to pull a full report of my credit. I didn't realize this until after Daniel was angrily clicking away on his computer and after several minutes of silence said "I am not sure why your credit report isn't pulling up." ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Stunned into mere silence, I regained my brain pistons and was actually able to summon some halfway decent reasoning speech. Shortly after all of this hullabaloo, the negligent, unprofessional and awkward team at Nissan had the audacity to report that they had LOST THE KEY to the vehicle I had come to see. Do you think they maybe would have discovered this pivotal piece of information BEFORE I DROVE AN HOUR in traffic and a storm to get there? I guess not. As the sun happened to disappear, I was welcomed to look at a dirty car that was apparently "selling slowly" and had been listed for over 80 days. Nissan didn't institute a single wimpy vacuuming or wipe down of the car. Through the window in the DARK I could see how disgusting it was. I am now in the process of challenging the run of my credit. Second step, to figure out how to blast the truth behind this unbelievably uneducated dealership to protect those considering stepping foot inside. How they can continue to make any revenue in sales after the display I saw and experienced is beyond me. It was an act of mere chance that I didn't do business with Nissan of Richmond. At having the opportunity to see the level of amateur dealership "professionalism" I was able to walk away with my money in tact and a hard pull on my credit report. To think that they are housed in one of the most popular stretches of road in Richmond for shopping and food, etc... Embarrassing for Richmond and embarrassing for the name of Nissan. If you are reading this, please read ALL the sales review of this store. I did not and I REGRET it like HELL!!! We worked with the sales and reached an Out-The-Door price. (Remember to keep the sheet that has the number you agree on!) Went to finance department and reviewed the paperwork. The total number on the contract is higher than OTD. They said it is additional service charge blah blah blah. I guess OTD is a joke and customers are idiots to them. Told us they have to call manager to take off the charge and came back real quick saying they can do us a "favor". Guess having dealers to keep their words is a favor. Also, the loan payment number is off. We used different online calculator and got a total interest number lower than the one they calculated. Of course, they blamed the system saying they have no idea. A finance officer cannot work out an easy loan payment? Incompetent or sneaky? What I learned is that dealer and customer are always on the opposite side of the table. However friendly they may look, they are thinking and calculating to their best interest. You are the only one who can protect yourself, so WATCH OUT!
