However, negotiation or not, the lowest price the specific car was offered for, 2 months ago, was $1300 less than the current hijacked price due to tax time. Simply put, if you can afford to lower the price at any moment of time, that means you (the dealer) have calculated the profit you will receive. At any time, you should be able to work with someone who can not finance and would like to pay cash.
