I contacted Ideal Cars and Tina answered my inquiry immediately, thus the 1 star. she said that the 2005 Ford Explorer was avail. and there when we arrived we were told that it was not avail at the Main just past extension, but that they had another vehicle and pointed in the general direction. Husband and I walked over to the vehicle. It was nasty and in no way ready to be shown. Mike finally came out and pointed to the opposite direction the other side of the huge lot. He then told us that he guesses that it was not on their lot. Tina than told us that the vehicle had been sent to Apache Jct. opposite end of Main St. we tested the vehicle, and sensors were going off. seems that the alternator was needing to be replaced. We were told that it would take 2 days, only to be called while on our way back home. We went back as they wanted to have us test drive the vehicle. The vehicle was not exactly what I wanted, had too many issues. but I decided that it will do for now, when I sat down to negotiate, I advised them that I was told that it had been at the first lot for 4 months, and at the Apache Jct for 2 months, this is info. that Tina gave us. I wanted to negotiate the price, the owners son was sitting behind me and the son looked at me and said NO, he would not consider any offer other than what they offered it at. I could not believe what I was hearing. I advised him that I would be paying cash no financing needed. I gave this information off the bad. I was very irritated/angry as the son stated that they had only had the vehicle for a week. His dad had already told us that they had the vehicle on the lot for a couple of months. I sure hope that he gave his young dumb son a lecture on how to treat the customers. I will never use this dealership and I will be sure to pass along how sub standard their practices are. I would not send my enemy there. They passed up cash. and Lied to me about the vehicle.

On 11/28/2020, we purchased our leased vehicle. We decided to use Toyota financial for our loan needs. I am highly disappointed with the games and the cowardly tactics that were used during the buying process. We walked out with a loan from Toyota financial after two hours. I find that my credit was run twice and a third time when the loan was sold to a different company. I was better off getting finance with my credit union and saving $2,500 in dealer finance fees. Back story, we've leased many Toyota's and brought family and friends to this dealership. After five Toyota's, we will never come back, and I will actively speak out about this dealer's shortcomings. In two years, I will go to Avondale Toyota to leases a new vehicle.

Called Earnhardt Toyota yesterday and agreed to buy a car in their certified pre-owned inventory. I went down to buy the car after work. The dealership sold the car to another person as I arrived. I told the sales manager that they were not honoring their deal with me. He told me, "you can't expect me to hold a used car for you." I said, I bought another Camry from you last month, and asked them to keep an eye out for another Camry for me. The sales rep said he would. He did NOT keep his eye out for me. I called, rather I tried to call this dealership several times with their phones not working properly. When the sales manager asked me if he would like me to have him keep an eye out for a Camry, I told him his sales rep was supposed to do that for me already. He responded saying, he is 19 years old, that I should not expect him to be accountable to help me out. This completely floored me, I did not know how to respond to such a moronic statement. They sold the car out from under me, I can't expect their sales rep to be accountable to me, and I left the dealership completely dissatisfied. If this customer service reflects their best ability, then I will take my business somewhere else.
