Well my wife has health problems and we live 30min. away on the lake.I searched for 6 months to find the perfect used v8 e type 550. Finally found a beautiful one in the white my wife wanted at woodlands.I called on Saturday spoke to the salesman I had spoken with 3 previous times.I told him I wanted that particular car no haggle on price. I offered to give him a deposit on credit card as my wife had a Dr. appt. I had to drive her too in Houston( he said it wasn't necessary) and we would pick it up and sign papers on Monday ,it would be around 12 as my wife is not an early riser. He said no problem it will be here ready to go. Well we get there ,and there she is beautiful, like new sitting in showroom floor,(we did not know that was it) I got our salesman called to showroom, told him I was here to pay for and pick up the white E550 with pano roof, stock number ---- That I spoke with you about on Friday.He said great let me find it, we in meantime were looking at beautiful one in showroom ,well guess what? He comes back and says I cant find it,let me ask where it is. He comes out and says that's it right there,my wife was so happy!!! Then he says but it was sold 30 min ago to someone else.I said I offered to give you deposit over phone Friday that I would be here today!!! He said he was sorry but another salesman sold it without checking. Well guess what They lost that sale, lost an AMG new sale to my daughter,We have always bought or leased a new vehicle every year so either my wife or I had a new year model.
