(Please Read Before Visiting) If I could rate this place 0 stars, I would. Where do I start. Me and my mother were eyeing a 2019 Honda Accord Sport. A few different dealers had it for a much better price. So we presented those offers to this dealer. We spoke to Mike Pelletier over phone. He advised us to send him the offers by email. We emailed him the offers. We advised him we would be trading in a car. KBB value of $23, 000, and appraised at $22,000, at multiple other dealerships. He tells us he is gonna speak to his manager, and get back in touch with us. He calls this past friday, speaks to my mother, stating that basically we are crazy for trying offer that price for the 2019 Accord Sport, and that they would be losing out on money. We advised him, that other dealers, had the same vehicle more aggressively priced. He advised that they are full of it, and it can't be true. When it fact it was true, we received multiple order forms, that had the out door price, and showed exactly how much the price of the vehicle, tax, tags, and fees would be for that vehicle. (For anyone reading this, an order form, with an out the door price , is your best friend. It will save you so much time, and headaches.)He still advised to my mother that basically we were lying. And that they could only offer $19,000, and that we were crazy if we thought we were going to get more than for the vehicle. It was so much back and forth. A massive headache. He was so condescending to my mother, it disgusted me. He talked to her like she was stupid, and frankly seemed sexist. Keep in mind this was all over the phone. Imagine if we actually came in person. Please save yourself some time, and a headache, and don't do business with this dealer. We ended up purchasing the same exact Vehicle at (Brandon Honda) for much cheaper, with so many accessories included in the price. Plus they gave us a trade in value close to $22,000. About a 3k difference to what Tampa Honda had advised me. If you are looking for a honda dealer, definitely check out Brandon Honda. Everyone was super nice, and you could tell that they actually cared about having your business. Their was no back and forth haggling like their was with Tampa Honda. Re: Picking up our new Honda CR-V Vin # 2HKRW1H95LH413845 on August 1, 2020 Thought you might be interested in a new scam/elder abuse/exploitation of senior citizens from Regal Honda of Lakeland, FL. Following is the Scenario. On June 29 we negotiated a price with Josh Woodard (sales person) for a new car and ordered it.  Josh Woodard contacted us that the car would be in July 29 and gave us the vin# 2HKRW1H95LH413845 for us to get insurance on it for the day time of pickup. It came in a day earlier and on Aug 1 we drove 100 miles to pay for and pick up the Honda CR-V that we ordered on June 29th.   The scam and exploitation of a senior begins upon our arrival.  Upon arrival at the dealership, Josh Woodard (sales person) said he wasn’t expecting us on Aug 1 and he said he thought it was Aug 8.  We had talked previously confirming the date for pickup and even sent him a text prior to Aug 1 confirming the date.  Never ever mentioning Aug 8.  The morning of Aug 1 sent Josh Woodard an email that we were on our way.  FIRST RED FLAG.  We then presented Josh Woodard a copy of our insurance on the new vehicle and he made a copy. He brought the car out and it was not detailed.  There was one additional dealer installed option on the vehicle that we had NOT ordered but he would give it to us free because it was already installed.  I thought maybe they had another buyer at more money for my car but put the thought out of my mind.  ANOTHER RED FLAG Next Robert Holly (sales manager) comes to talk to us.  Now the scenario good cop, bad cop is recreated in a new version by Team Regal (comprised of salesman, sales manager & finance guy) on how to "Exploit Senior Citizens".  The sales manager Robert Holly told us he had good news and bad news and we would have to pay $500.00 more than the agreed price negotiated on June 29.  My wife was upset and walked out. I asked Robert Holly to show me where Honda just ended a $500.00 rebate and we were no longer entitled to it.  I showed him documentation where Josh Woodard sent me on June 29 and we were entitled to the rebate.  I again asked Robert Holly to show me documentation that Honda says I am not entitled to the rebate since it was already approved on June 29.  Robert Holly could not produce the stated letter from Honda canceling the rebate.  He then conceded and said he would eat the $500.00.  ANOTHER RED FLAG. Next Josh Woodard came back to the table and said he made a mistake and the price they quoted was not for a new license plate and we would have to pay $300.00 for a new license tag.  Josh Woodard asked me the question if it was going to be a new tag or transfer of an existing tag.  I informed him it was going to be a new tag. In the confusion of this day I could not find the text so we accepted the $300.00.  ANOTHER RED FLAG. Now you get to the finance guy and he has all these questions and optional things (warranties/protection plans) they try and make money from you and is required to read by law, so he says. We let him read them and told him we were not interested in any. He asked “WHY”  and we told him we were not interested in any of them.  He asked "WHY" three times and he would not accept our answer of “NO”. He wanted a different answer to input into his computer program and said he could not proceed with the paperwork until we answered "WHY".  The finance guy told us his program would not accept "NO" and he needed a better response.   I asked for choices that the program would accept and he would not give us any choices.  The finance guy said he could not proceed with the paperwork.  He then said because we could’t answer "Why" he would not sell us the vehicle.  Never knew a finance person had all that power when we are sitting there with cash in hand to buy the vehicle that we ordered.  We were then told to leave because we were making too much noise.  And this was over a period of 4 hours. Team Regal won this inning. I guess this is a new type of bait and switch scam to exploit senior citizens for more money.  ANOTHER RED FLAG. After thinking of the days events, I think Team Regal might have had someone else interested in the vehicle we ordered and paying a higher price than we signed for.  When they couldn’t get us to backdown on buying the vehicle, the finance guy lost it and resorted to telling us he would not sell the vehicle to us and told us to leave.     After two dozen new car purchases, this is the lowest new scam that I have experienced and surprised if it is sanctioned by a Honda of America.  I will investigate this with Honda of America in the near future. Hope this letter helps protect other senior citizens

Dealer Review:

Purchased a used Ram truck. During the test drive I noticed that the truck had a tire that was very low. The salesman said he was going to have the service dept repair the tire. When I took the truck home I found that the tire was going flat! The next day I took the truck to my local tire dealer. After inspection, they advised that the tire had a nail in the inside side wall and was not repairable. I had to purchase a new tire at over $200 dollars! I'll never give this bunch a good review. Watch out for this dealer!
