Went in casually to look at Armada’s. We test drove one Platinum Reserve that was certified preowned (CPO), which is what we wanted and requested. It had a torn leather seat and 3 chips in the windshield that were all starting to crack and spread. The salesperson kept trying to down play both items saying that it wouldn’t cost that much for US to repair and/or replace the leather tear and windshield if we chose to buy the vehicle. Keep in mind, CPO is supposed to be the best of the best for used cars and this clearly was not the case here. Eventually the salesperson said THEY would fix them both...and I have the text stating this. The salesperson also stated on our first visit that the POSTED price on their website, that clearly shows that it’s CPO for that price, did NOT actually include the CPO price after all and that it would be added to OUR price if we decided to get it. He said they did it that way to look competitive to be able to get people on the lot!! So when we got the sales quote (that I wish I could attach), not only was the CPO price of $1295 tacked on the top but then so was the repair price for the leather seat and the windshield for $1095 that THEY “were going to fix”!! Obviously we walked away laughing at this place! There was nothing good about the experience at this dealership and the negotiating was definitely one sided. They wanted top $ for the vehicle and didn’t come off that price, even when I showed them it was priced only as “fair” on ALL the consumer websites and found similar Armada’s at other local dealerships that we’re priced cheaper. They also tried to offer the lowest trade in amount showing on KBB for my vehicle. It was a joke! Do not recommend them at all! Dealt with multiple car dealerships over the years but this dealership would be at the bottom of my list to buy from.
