2016 Kia Sedona
I bought my Sedona with 71k miles on it about 5 months ago. The Sedona was very clearly the best handling of the 3 or 4 major minivans. Probably because I think it's the only one with a rear anti roll bar so it corners somewhat flatter. It was reasonably fast. It didn't look as bulbous and large as the other minivans. I was going to throw a set of Telluride 20" rims and tires on it … because that upgrade did wonders for my old SUV's handling but I realized that every situation I've threw at it- cloverleafs, sweepers, mountain passes, windy back roads- the Sedona didn't ever really need more grip even on somewhat worn tires. So I stuck with the 18s and kept the nice ride comfort. What was a revelation was the interior- I'm in love with it. Every convenience I could want is present except adaptive cruise control because I bought an SX which didn't have the tech package. Its a nice to have. The kicker was it didn't have CarPlay from the factory but I read online that Kia offered a free upgrade, which I did the first night of ownership. I actually knocked $500 off the price because "the infotainment was outdated" and the seller agreed. I've put 9000 miles on it so far and coming up on it's first major service with me. no issues so far. I really like this minivan. color, features, performance, price, etc. It was the best combination and as it turned out, it was almost half the price of what people were asking for 2016 Odysseys and Siennas with similar miles. I think people who had poorer views of this van probably didn't choose a high enough trim to be honest.
