Porsche for everyone

2007 Porsche Boxster
I bought a 2007 2.7 987 with 106k miles ten months ago for £10k - the base car in my opinion is fabulously smooth to drive, its fast enough but won't scare you amd it sounds wonderful. The build quality is such that it doesnt appear 16 years old. I bought from a dealer as I wanted a warranty. The issues I have had include corroded exhaust fittings that led to a horrendous noise but this … was easily remedied as a Porsche specialist for £27 in parts although I did end up replacing rear coffin arms and coil packs too. I had a few niggles with the hood not seating correctly but was able to fix myself by replacing a couple of elastic straps that pull the fabric into place. I would strongly recommend to anyone who's ever dreamt of owning a Porsche to take the plunge but have a couple of grand spare to sort out issues that might need fixing to get the car "well sorted" No regrets whatsoever.
