2007 Toyota Tundra SR5 4dr CrewMax 4WD SB (5.7L 8cyl 6A)

I shopped the Ford F150, Dodge Ram 1500 and the Silverado before buying the Tundra. The horsepower and torque are incredible. The 6-speed transmission shifts very smoothly. I got the JBL stereo upgrade, but thought it was overpriced (see comments below). If you get a 4X4, make sure you get step bars (very tall). Best fuel economy compared to other trucks in this class.

Best Features

5.7L engine and 6-speed transmission. Excellent "push you back in your seat" torque. Storage compartments are everywhere. Four power ports. Rear-seat room. HUGE sunroof w/ speed sensitive deflector. "Get out of my way" look it gives to other cars on the highway. Standard safety features.

Worst Features

If you pay $1200 for a stereo upgrade, shouldn't you expect a satellite radio? It's not even that "satellite-ready". You need an antenna and the module that plugs into the existing unit. Even off the internet, you're looking at around $500 (not counting subscription). Less cabin plastic.
