Used 2006 Toyota Tundra Consumer Reviews
Yes, this truck is great
This truck has great power, it is stable anywhere thanks to the limited slip differential and it is pretty fast.
Great Everyday Truck
Unless you are doing some serious hauling and towing on a daily basis, there is no reason not to own this truck. Initially there was nothing special about the interior, but it has grown on me and now I really like it. Very smooth ride and engine, with great acceleration. Gas mileage has been good, especially for a truck. It's a comfortable easy to drive truck with Toyota reliability. The power rear window is a nice touch, and the 8 cup holders (4dr.) are great for families or just those of us who seem to collect beverages in out vehicles. Superior visibility, and excellent handling make the Tundra a perfect truck for everyday life, and Toyota's reliability.

New Toyota Owner
I researched for six months and test drove the Titan and the Silverado before I purchased my Tundra. My Tundra is a blast to drive, great color, everybody I meet likes my truck, my wife approves, the daughter took off in it for about an hour. A great vehicle which should last a long, long time. This truck looks like it can eat a Honda Pilot, Ridgeline, most domestic pickups and sedans.
Great Driving Truck
This truck drives better than any truck I've ever owned. I've owned Chevys and Fords, but this truck is better by far. I've always owned trucks, if you want a medium towing truck this is it for sure. Heavy duty towing, I'd go with a different truck that offers bigger engines and higher tourque. Overall though this truck has got to be the best at the medium level by far.
Love it so far!
I have owned the truck for about three weeks now and 1,500 miles in to ownership I am very pleased. I love the power, handling, and space. I have just ordered an intake and muffler for it hoping it will help increase the airflow and improve my fuel mileage a bit (even though I am already getting between 16-18.5). I feel bad for making fun of Toyotas for so long! I am not sure I would make another purchase outside of their lineup.
