2004 Toyota Tacoma 2dr Regular Cab Rwd SB (2.4L 4cyl 5M)

Review

I really like my truck. Beautiful
little machine on the outside, and a no
nonsense vehicle on the inside. I
really appreciate the fact that Toyota
allows you to purchase a vehicle
without all the buzzers and bells, so
many other companies make standard, and
likewise cause initial sticker price to
be so inflated. All my little beast
has for options is the enhancement
package, which completed the little guy
just the way I would have wanted with
AC, better stereo system, and a few
upgrades on outside such as tires and
rims which make the truck perfect for
me and my chow chow, Ming, who rides
shotgun. Keep up the great work Toyota

Best Features

Is the complete lack of, at least for me taste, worthless options, such as power windows and locks. I'm an average size adult man, I can reach over and roll down the window or lock the door without any effort at all. Useless features are not in my truck; however, ABS&Airbags are std

Worst Features

Not for me, but I do think with enhancement package a CD player should be included. I'm one of the few people who still has almost all cassette tapes. As for me, the one thing I would do is make the back window open. If I had this feature the little truck would be perfect for me.

Review

Bought my truck in May of
2004....researched and test drove it
for about 2 weeks. could not be
happier with it. toyota is the king of
building a reliable vechicle. the
prerunner looks great, has great
handling and all the mumbo jumbo of a
crappy ride is CRAP. it has an awesome
ride for a truck and u cannot top the
offroad capability....espsecially with
the TRD package which includes the
blistein shocks for a more stiffer
ride.the interior looks excellent as
well..i have the radient red color so
the tan cloth looks good. the
transmission shifts sooo smoothly and
the V6 pumps out almost 200 horses so
it does have great power for its size.
you can't beat the quality of a toyota
truck

Best Features

The exterior is soo stylish...the rear sliding window cools off the cab nicely when its just a little to cold for the A/C. the cruise control is as smooth as any other vechicle ive been in. great stock stereo system, it even has tweeters! also the truck has 6 cupholders!

Worst Features

there is only one thing that toyota messed up on in this generation of the tacoma....as you have read it is the digital clock which is blocked by the steering wheel when you view it from a normal driving position. you also may want to consider the new 05 model year, other than that go buy a toyota!

Review

This is the third 4WD truck I've
owned. My first was a Ford Ranger
which turned out to be a lemon. My
second was a Dodge Dakota, which I
loved, and owned for 12 years. So far
I like this Tacoma a little better than
my Dakota. It is easy and fun to
drive, and a very comfortable ride. I
just hope that it turns out be as
dependable as the Dakota.

2004 Toyota Tacoma 4dr Double Cab PreRunner Rwd SB (2.7L 4cyl 4A)

Review

This is the first new vehicle I have
ever owned and I will never buy
anything but a Toyota again. I have
gone on several long (8hrs) trips in my
truck and it is extremely comfortable.
It gets great gas milage and the cruise
control is easy to use. The ample
amount of cup holders comes in handy
during these trips as well as the tilt
steering.
