While I am still a new owner, this van
drives like a dream and has many
wonderful comfort features. My last van
was not a Toyota, but I am very happy
to have returned to being a Toyota
owner. The quality and smoothness of
the handling and ride are terrific.
My favorite features are: Everything!
But specifically: the sonar cruise
control, all wheel drive, stow-away
seats, rear ventilation via roll-down
center windows, and excellent sound
The side running boards are of no help,
and actually make it more difficult to
get in and out. Another very minor
thing: a secondary sun visor (like the
Windstar has) would be helpful for
those roads that keep the sun switching
from front to side windows.
I test drove them all and am happy to
report I was dead on in choosing the
Sienna. I got the upgraded package and
love the comfort I have with the
advance safety package. Make sure you
get the anti-skid with package or you
won't like it.
Drives smooth and quiet. I have 5 kids
and everyone is comfy

2004 Toyota Sienna CE 7-Passenger Fwd 4dr Minivan (3.3L 6cyl 5A)
The Sienna got us all of the features
we wanted/needed on the base model for
a great price. Tumble-under 3rd row
seat, the bucket seat 2nd row that
swing forward for easy access to the
back (great for getting kids in and out
of car seats), and engine's power (I
think it's the most powerful base
engine out there) in combination with
the good gas mileage. We thought we got
a good deal by getting our CE for
$22,400 on the last Saturday of the
month. Great standard features and
awesome passing acceleration on the
free way (better than our Camry) and
the turning radius is superb which
makes U-turns easy.
Tumble-under third row seat, roomyness,
high end engine acceleration, sharp
handling, roll-down side-slide door
windows and flip forward 2nd-row seats.
2nd-row seets are a little difficult to
remove and were tricky figuring out how
to re-attach. City fuel economy isn't
quite as good as stated on sticker.
2004 Toyota Sienna LE 8-Passenger Fwd 4dr Minivan (3.3L 6cyl 5A)
This car was definitely worth the 6
week waiting period. It's easy to
drive and rides very smooth. I
thought it might be too big to drive
moving from a compact car to a minivan
but the Sienna is very comfortable,
definitely not too big.
Lots of nooks and crannies to store
stuff in. Also I like the backs of
the front seats are plastic so when my
kids kick the backs with their shoes
it doesn't stain the fabric.
More standard safety features. Make
the middle row seats easier to move
My husband got this van as a "whole
family" present during Christmas. I
got to drive the Sienna during
Christmas Day while there was barely
any traffic and I must say that it's
ride is smooth and very car-like.
(This is my first minivan since our
Camry & ES300). Steering is tight and
performance is pretty good. Fuel
economy suprised us when is was up to
28MPG. Pretty good for a large car. I
loved how luxurious the car was.
Overall, It's the best minivan I've
