2002 Toyota Sienna Minivan CE 4dr Minivan (3.0L 6cyl 4A)

Review

Have had ride and tire wear problems
since day one. Dealer had me buy new
wheel, no improvement. Toyota
Customer Service is the absolute pits
and there is no way I would ever
recommend that anybody ever buy a
vehicle from Toyota of Melbourne, FL.

Best Features

Nice ride. Cruise control works well. Air conditioning is nice and cold and cools relatively quickly.

Worst Features

Stereo could use some improving.

2002 Toyota Sienna Minivan LE 4dr Minivan (3.0L 6cyl 4A)

Review

I was tired of wasting all my free time
maintaining cars. This is the most
uneventful car experience I've ever
had. The only things I do are oil
changes and put gas in the thing! It
handles like a cloud and behaves well
(very car-like). It's so quiet, it's
almost scary! It is wonderful for longer
trips. I researched vans for nearly a
year before buying this one. Only the
new Sienna could top it.

Best Features

Variable Valve Timing, steering wheel radio controls, lots of nooks and crannies for storage, comfortable captains chairs, and most importantly, solid build quality and reliability! I'm tellin' you, if you're a mechanic, you'll need a new hobby!

Worst Features

Fold away third seat, Exterior is a little plain, MPG is lower than expected:@19 MPG, better tires (I don't like Firestones)

2002 Toyota Sienna Minivan LE 4dr Minivan (3.0L 6cyl 4A)

Review

Own a 2002 Toyota Sienna LE symphony
with 42,000 miles, and absolutely NO
problems at all. Only maintenance
required was oil changes every 5,000
miles. Nothing fancy about the
styling of this van, but it gets the
job done (transporting kids safely,
comfortably, and reliably).

Best Features

Reliability, smooth ride, power sliding door, power drivers seat, NOT a gas guzzler, and practicality.

Worst Features

Fold flat 3rd row seats would have been great (it looks like Toyota took care of that in the new Sienna, however).

2002 Toyota Sienna Minivan XLE 4dr Minivan (3.0L 6cyl 4A)

Review

Very nice amenedies for a van. The
style is better than most. The
interior offers a very quite and
comfortable ride. Acceleration is very
good- no problems getting onto the
freeway. The van is remarkably well
built and trouble-free. The engine and
tranny are smooth and work effortlessly
toghether.

Best Features

The engine is very reliable and smooth. The interior has nice electronics and dashboard display.

Worst Features

All recommended improvements have been made in the 2004 model. Just can't afford the new ones!

Review

Compared to my old Plymouth Voyager, I
am very disappointed. There is hardly
any trunk space. In order to fold the
rear seats down, the headrests must
first be removed. And then there is not
sufficient under seat space to store
them, so they take up space in my
garage. Plus the headrests are so bulky
that they interfere with my vision
while backing out of a parking space.
There is also not much space up front
to store stuff. You can't put anything
under the seats because of the seat
mechanisms. And there is not much space
between the front seats or between the
rear and front seats. I do not plan to
purchase the Sienna again.

Worst Features

More storage space throughout.
