2011 Toyota RAV4 4dr SUV (2.5L 4cyl 4A)

being my first new car I should think I'd love it, or at least like it, but I hate this thing.
It is too cramped feeling inside, the cup holders are ridiculously worthless and out of reach, it's such a stripped down model I can't believe I paid what I did for this.
I have always driven luxury-level cars which seem to be a thing of the past, but this is bottom of the barrell in my view and I can't wait until I can get rid of it.

this will not be good when I go on cross-country trips and won't be able to have a cup of ice water or tea close at hand

Best Features

cute exterior style extra glove box bright head lights

Worst Features

cup holders that are within reach cup holders that can actually hold something larger than a 12-ounce can or maybe 16-ounce cup more hip room, at least for driver window controls that are easily accessible...you have to be a contortionist to reach these around the door handle climate control should be standard decent radio should be standard auto headlights should be standard

I was going to add somethin but Sheepleking took the words right out of my mouth. If you did test drive it before you bought it, you shouldve known if you liked it or not. Anyways Toyotas are one of if not the most dependable vehicles on the road and they have the best resale value too so you got a great deal just by buying one. If you wanted a little more luxury, you shouldve bought a Toyota Rav Limited. And as far as being cramped, i think they are alot more comfortable than a Chevy Equinox. I cant believe some people even buy them.

So you go from "luxury-level cars" to a barebones RAV4 and then complain about features? Did you not know what you were getting when you test drove it? Did you test drive it? Climate control IS standard on all models...upgraded climate control (dual) is optional. The cup holders have removable inserts that will allow you to hold up to a 20oz bottle or larger. You downgrade them in nearly every category but don't provide specifics.
