Used 2005 Toyota RAV4 Consumer Reviews
Great vehicle
I just purchased the rav 4 and it is great. I am 5'2" and it is the only small SUV that I drove and felt comfy in. It handles really well with great pick up and steering. It does take getting used to if you were used to driving a sedan as it is top heavy, but the rav4 doesn't lean as much as the other models I drove. I love the sporty look and the interior gauges are easy to read and fun to look at.
Littlefield's RAV Review
The only challenge I have with my Rav is that it takes a while to gain power when passing or going uphill.

Good compact SUV
I have owned my RAV4 for over 2 months. I have been comparing RAV4 with CRV and finally got the RAV4 due to the outlook and the safety issue (CRV engire fire scared me!!). It's running great so far. one complaint I have is the car seat not really comfortable due to the headrest leaning forward and back support is not curve enough to support my back. I have to shop around to find a back rest to put it on my car seat :(
fun to drive
I finally caved in to buy SUV due to my bad back and trying to put 2 carseats..This was the best compromise of carlike handling and fuel economy and ofcourse toyota rep.(we also have 03 sienna). I have thrown this SUV at 65 mph on corners and it did as well as my 99 altima..it also returned 27mpg on my first fill up. I paid $20000 all inclusive for basic 5 speed, FWD. It also did well in snow with std. VSC, and traction control..hopefully I will have safe winters with this car in Minnesota..
Excellent
Love it - seats are a little uncomfortable for long hauls - but over all not too bad - great mileage (27 hiway/24 town) - lots of room - cute style - love the color - love the extras - easy parking - sharp turning - AWSOME VEHICLE
