Used 2003 Toyota RAV4 Consumer Reviews
Great Car
Really suprised by the comfort and handling of nour Rav 4. It fits the whole family perfectly. 4 different drivers, 4 really different size people, and no matter who drives or sits where, it's comfortable. It could use better gas milage. But it has been a dream to own!
Love It
I am a Toyota person and I had some reservation about the RAV4 but I love'd the body style. I had 184,000 mile on my Camry and I need a new vehicle I shopped until I dropped and Hatfield's gave me the best deal I went on week end trip and I love my new RAV4 it has the all wheel drive. I went from a V6 back to a 4 cyclinder and I love it.I can't say enought good this.

Best Car Ever!
I have had my Rav for over 4 years, but almost 100,000 miles on it and aside from new brakes, tires and regular maintenance...I've never needed to do anything to it. I love this car, it's perfect for 2 adults and maybe one child and a dog. The only problem I have is the back seat is too small. We have a one year old, with one on they way and we need to upgrade....can't fit 2 car seats in the back unless you want your knees in the glovebox. Aside from back seat, it's a great car with room in the trunk for lots of stuff (including a giant stroller) and it drives great. I would recommend it to anyone!
Great Little SUV
I have owned several vehicles as well as other Toyotas and I can honestly say that the 2003 RAV4 S model is the most fun to drive. True, it is not a powerhouse, but it is not designed to be. The 4 wheel drive is flawless and I could not tell the difference between it and the 2 wheel drive model. The interior is the usual Toyota quality and the exterior is awesome.
A commuters dream car.
I bought a RAV4-L with AWD and 5sp Man trans. I purchased largely due to interior comfort and driver space. Aestherics playes a role as well. Driving experience is very good. The car is very nimble, and handles road bumps with ease. Excellent brakes. Downside is a somwehat underpowered engine. The manual seems to make little difference due to the rather close gearing in the car. One could easily go from 2nd to 5th and not really miss 3rd and 4th. Torque comes in a very tight range of RPM and I find myself always dropping a gear or two to get the most out of the engine. Nevertheless, I have come to really enjoy how the car drives.
