So far so good

2010 Toyota Prius IV 4dr Hatchback (1.8L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)

Replaced 2006 Honda Ridgeline (great truck while it lasted), this is a big change to get used to. I considered the Camry (didn’t want to wait for the 2010s), and the Ford Fusion (did not have fold down seats). The Prius is a technology wonder. My complaints are minor because I may be spoiled or want perfection but other features are superb. So far, I'm loving it. The mileage is the best part. The first time I filled up, I thought the gauge was broken as it took so little fuel.

I love our new Prius III. Great fuel economy. Just over 500 miles on vehicle and averaging 49.4 MPG. Only on my second tank of gas, averaging 55.2 on this tank. Interior well designed with above average materials. No new car problems whatsoever. Exterior fit and finish is top notch as well. CVT transmission is very smooth. JBL sound system very good. Bluetooth link flawless. Displays busy at first, but I'm used to them now. This car is everything I was looking for...and more!

So far so good!

We've just purchased the vehicle and I hope we like it down the road as much as now! So far excellent mileage, great comfort and sharp appearance. Replaced a Camry and surprisingly the Prius had as much if not more room inside. We have the 17" tires which make the handling very good although they do make the bumps more noticeable. This is a good trade off in our case. It was almost like learning to drive all over again as this is the first hybrid we've owned. It is fun to drive! Really like the ability to expand the cargo area - it is huge! Learning to work the navigation is a chore for an "old dinosaur" like myself, but it works great! At this point we love the car!

The Prius is different

I am very satisfied and would readily recommend the car. Once you become accustomed to the quiet of the engine cutting out @ traffic lights & adjust to pressing a button to start & park & get comfortable not being able to see the front\corners of the car & with the split rear view, the car is very comfortable and pleasant to drive .

Coming from Detroit, you can only imagine I caught all kinds of HECK purchasing a Toyota. However, when I saw the 2010 Prius; it was love at first sight. I never liked the 2nd Gen, this is a whole new vehicle. Stylish, sleek, with a lil' power. I love every moment I'm in my Prius, this is the best car purchase I've ever made.
