2001 Toyota MR2 Spyder 2dr Convertible (1.8L 4cyl 5M)


These are my first impressions: This
car is very fun to drive, and
surprisingly roomy and comfortable
inside for an avg size person. I
bought it used with 8K on it.
Obviously it's a Porche wannabe, but
some of us are not going to spend twice
as much for essentially the same ride,
or for a summer fun car, so I think it
is a good value.

Best Features

The handling and maneuverability is great. If you live where there are some winding roads, you will have some real fun in this thing.

Worst Features

The car needs a 6th gear. At 75 on the highway you are at 4000 RPMs, the car is begging for relief and there is no gear to go to. I don;t mind a minimalist look, but the interior quality of materials could definitely be improved---too darn plasticky feeling and looking
