Only three problems--noisy on the
highway ; that lower front "thing" gets
scraped easily on its underside
becasuse its so low; red dash lights
sometimes make it difficult to see
numbers when it is sunny.
From the moment I saw it I wanted it. I
haven't been disappointed yet. Lots of
fun to drive and handles well. Not much
of anything bad to say except it could
be a bit more sound proof. Outside
noise when driving on the highway isn't
very good. Noise reduction hopefully in
2005 will improve.
2004 Toyota Matrix Wagon Fwd 4dr Wagon (1.8L 4cyl 4A)
This little car has been wonderful for
me. I am an outside salesperson. I love
the room. I love the mileage. And we
have ffound it great for camping. Not
real crazy about the plastic deck in
the bck. We added padding so that cargo
wouldn't slide so much. Other wise, I
really like my Matrix.
I love it! Smooth ride...quiet...good
pickup...easy to handle...easy to
park...fun to drive. I love all the
options...I have everything except the
navigational system. I've had it for
almost 3 months and haven't regreted my
purchace and wouldn't change my
decision to buy it if I could! I've
owned several new cars in my life, and
this has got to be one of my
favorites...without a doubt!
AWD...sunroof...excellent stereo system!
upgrading the 4 cylinder engine to a
6...although it doesn't feel like the 4
is dragging down its performance any or
taxing the engine. I think this might
help the fuel economy/gas milage.
