Overall the car is a good value. Great
fuel economy. Handles well,
accelerates fine, even with A/T. Lots
of room for rear passengers, even
deceptively so, at least my kids say
so. They are teenagers. Like the fold
down seats for cargo. Stereo
acceptable, but cd's seem to skip,
maybe my cd's? Can start car without
headlights coming on by first engaging
emergency brake, then start car. Good
for night starting at certain places.
Style, gas milage, interior room, sun

This is a great all-around vehicle for
carrying lots of stuff or people,
especially for long trips. It is very
peppy around town. The interior has
space and headroom to spread out
without feeling cramped. I love the
seats; it has a much more spacious back
seat than any other hatch. There is
body roll in tight turns, but the
suspension is very tenacious. If you
check Edmunds six-car comparo, look at
slalom numbers:it was within 0.3 mph of
the Mazda Pro5, and handily beat
everything else in the test! Yet it
still damps bad pavement and potholes
really well. SUV space with the
performance, emissions, and fuel
economy of a car and Toyota reliability.

2003 Toyota Matrix Wagon Fwd 4dr Wagon (1.8L 4cyl 4A)
I have had my matrix now for little
over a month and I love driving it.
Yes the pick up could be better and the
engine more powerful but it gets me
where I wanna be. It's fun to drive,
super comfy and great on gas mileage
and when you drive nearly 500 miles a
week like me thats the best part.
I heard CD players scratches CDs but, My
CDs are not scratched from it yet. I
heard there is noise from the dash
board, I have not heard it yet. I think
its a good deal for a first car for
I love the mileage, red lights on the
dashboard, folded chairs to make more
room, and overall the ride.
I would move the rearview mirror lights
because, I accidentally turn it on all
night one time by putting on/off the sun
shade. I would have another way to see
the odometer reading without turning the
key switch on to hear the stereo.
The Matrix has a good combination of
features going for it. It gets very
good gas mileage for a automatic
transmission. It is distinctive and
pleasing in appearance. It handles
well. That is why I have rated it well.
Style and economy. And carrying abillity
