2013 Toyota Highlander 4dr SUV AWD (3.5L 6cyl 5A)

Bought in September 2013.

Definitely has trouble staring in winter???

Makes an excessively
loud humming noise in cold weather coming from the transmission. Noise disappears after vehicle has warmed up.

Ride is adequate - steering too loose.

Not what I was expecting in a vehicle at the price.

Best Features

With leather interior, got to have the heated seats in cold weather. Sound system was upgraded - most base sound systems from Toyota are really bad.

Worst Features

Head lights are terrible in winter as they are always giving poor visibility. Third seat idea is a waste of time. Meant for children, not adults = too hard to get in. Back window is too hard to clean with squeegee = it does not fit under overhand of roof.
