Nice Hybrid Ride!

2007 Toyota Highlander Hybrid 4dr SUV AWD (3.3L 6cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)

I'm still a very new owner but my first two tankfuls in mixed city/highway driving have been 28.4 MPG and 28.6 MPG. Based on the EPA sticker I was hoping for even more, but what I'm getting is still 60% BETTER than my last SUV. I'll save $1000 in gasoline every year with this vehicle (based on my year-long predicted average of $2.699/gallon).

Best Features

Come to a stop and the gas engine shuts off. Absolute quiet, and zero pollution! I love the ride, the quiet, the ECONOMY, and the power when I need it.

Worst Features

I bet they could make onboard computer software options that could allow the car to operate either in "performance" mode or "economy" mode. I'd like to see the vehicle use the electric motors more and the gas engine less, especially at lower around-town speeds.
