Used 2006 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Consumer Reviews
GREAT 4wd Limited HH
I just purchased this WONDERFUL car in OH (salesperson was Ernie Coon - who was wonderful!) and have just arrived home in California! Our cross-country drive was absolutely FLAWLESS! In hot, humid, windy, cool, raining conditions - MPG was 23-29 WITH A/C 95% of the time - 90% freeway traveling 70-82 MPH. Can't find a single thing wrong with the car ... not even a rattle or a squeak! Toyota has done a MARVELOUS job with the Highlander Hybrid 4wd Limited!
Pleased
We've put 700 miles on our Highlander Hybrid Limited, and we're really enjoying it! We've averaged 25 MPG thus far in mixed city/hwy driving. I think my driving style has been modified in response to the instant feedback supplied (is the power from electric or gas?) Fit and finish are perfect. Overall, an excellent purchase!

Highlander Hybrid
It is a fun SUV to drive currently with 325 mile I get 30.3 mpg. The only bad feature is the small third row seat which would be ok for young children, but not for adults. The navagation system and other updates from the original Prius for monitoring the car are so much more advanced, Including a calendar for memos etc. It is a very comforable SUV
Ten years ahead of my tahoe
the "most fun to drive vehicle" I have ever driven.the gps is a must, the screen displaying the drive/MPG is amazing.I really feel good about the milage i get after driving my other boats (tundra, sileverdo3500, and tahoe.I think it would run about a hi 15 second quarter mile too.I love it.I only wish that it came in a newer body style
Effortless power, decent MPG, comfort!
First things first: THH is a rocket. Acceleration is amazing and it does without major effort. Bought it used with about 10k miles and have 15k now. At this point, I would not change it for any car in the market, including the new THH, which is bigger and wider (Toyota, why?). Ride is soft (maybe not the softest but after CRV, it's like gliding). Exterior is very modest, interior is much better. My wife calls it a granma car on the outside. I actually like it that way. Very subtle, yet very powerful. My friends can't stop smiling at the silence when THH runs on the electric. Big fan of this car. Thank God, no problems, only scheduled maintenance. MPG is ok, esp given the power.
