Everybody is lookin'... fun vehicle
The vehicle performs and handles very well. I am always looking forward to every driving experience. It is an attention getter, and seems to magnetically attract attention.
A real Winner
Excellent; V6 engine, easy wash interior, comfortable seating, concept car looks, good value, side airbags, FJammer radio, large dials and Toyota history. All this adds up to a real winner. The FJ should win many awards in the next few months.

Favorite vehicle ever!
The looks were the first thing that drew me to the vehicle, then I read about the performance, then I drove it and compared it to a Wrangler unlimited. Even though the roof came off the Wrangler and the appeal of a convertible was high, I drive at least 20K a year and have family trips of 2,000+ miles...the Wrangler was like a stagecoach. I just got new tires after 45K and I feel like I can go ANYWHERE. The confidence I have in the FJ will someday get me buried, but it hasn't happened yet. I actually pulled an Esacalade out of the ditch the other day and the owner was simply flabbergasted at the capability. Lots of comments, some snide, mostly in admiration. So what on the blind spots...
Tougher than it looks
Like many of you, I researched this one pretty well. I knew its shortcomings (odd visibility, lack of luxury etc) going in and accepted the FJ on its merits. Mainly: it's just so much fun. I cruise out to the mountains nearly every weekend to work on my cabin restoration and to 4wd a bit. This puppy is TOUGH. I have run it up fairly steep talus and soft powdery roads and it doesn't lose grip or fade me off the trail at all. I've run it through deep-ish water where it crosses trails and again it rolls tough. I've also loaded it down with construction materials. Easy to load and manage for the most part. Strong, good mileage for it's class, eye grabby looks, good center of gravity, & sturdy.
FJC rocks
Happy to say that the FJC has been everything I hoped for. The truck is designed to be utilitarian and very functional. The ride and quality are first rate and the performance is very good. There really haven't been any items to complain about. I even love the fact that the truck does not need premium fuel so my running costs are lower. The fact that its such a cool looking truck is just a big bonus.
