I traded in my '02 Civic EX for my '05 Corolla and have not been disappointed! I have more car for the same price and with no problems that I had with my Civic. Dealer service for regular maintenance has been very good as well. I got more car versus the Civic for the same price! I plan on keeping my Corolla for many years.

ALL AROUND BEST IN ITS CLASS

After 48,000 miles / 2yrs of harsh commuting through blazing hot summers and freezing cold winters my car still drives, feels, and looks new. Equipped with a 4-cylinder which only packs 130- hp my car has plenty of power, even when fully loaded (5-PASSENGERS + CARGO) to keep up with all types of California commuting (80mph freeways, steep mountain climbs, stop and go city driving, beach/ocean cruising and long stretch highways). This compact sedan is spacious and has plenty of head, leg, and arm room both front and back as well as a large trunk. Also comfortable while traveling long distances. I’ve found this car to be safe, reliable, fun to drive, and economical. You Can't beat a TOYOTA!!!

#6th Corolla and counting...

AWESOME CAR!! I've been driving Corollas for 25 years for good reason- reliability & economy. This car is a kick to drive - responsive, quick & stylish. Finally an empty nester, I looked into my dream-a high end sports car; however reality ($$$ fuel prices/low gas mileage) brought me back to my senses. Enter the new XRS. WOW. Six (count 'em) speeds!!! Safety minded (airbags galore and ABS breaks) yet able to cut loose in a flash. Sits up way high on 16" Michelins (vs the 14" I've driven for years). I almost feel like I'm in a SUV! I still have my '99 with 120K miles (changed the oil every 5k miles, runs like a charm) and will keep that as a winter rat.

Great looking car, and great fuel economy. Good resale value and build quality very trust worthy. Only gripe is that on highway driving at about 75mph and higher there is a wierd buzzing sound coming from in my dash sounds like a bee traped in there very annoying, I plan on having it looked at. Oh yeah and if you go over 45 mph and put your back windows down it sounds like a helicopter is landing on your roof, kinda neat in away.

I wasn't looking for anything flashy - just a reliable, efficient, decent- looking car. I've always been pleased with Toyotas, but this one is by far the best I've owned. I've driven my Corolla from Texas to Manitoba to New York and loved every mile of it. No mechanical problems whatsoever. My gas mileage has averaged 33-36 city any 39- 42 highway. (I even got 46 mpg from one tank - highway driving across Kansas.) This car gives a really smooth ride and is a good value for the price. The heat and A/C really crank. I spent summer in TX & winter in NY and was always comfortable. Several friends of mine laughed at me for buying a Toyota until they rode in it and wished they had one of their own.
