2000 Toyota Corolla VE 4dr Sedan

This car has 220,000 miles on it and consumes tons of oil. Weekly it will "use" 2 qts. of oil. It doesn't leak, it doesn't smoke... so where does it go? I just refill it and go. This car is stout and handles very well except in the snow. 220,000 miles and it is still strong. I just have to buy stock in an oil distribution company. Nothing beats Toyota!

Best Features

Gas Mileage, reliability.

Worst Features

Overdrive and anti-lock brakes standard.

I have a 2000 Toyota Corolla VE, Purchased new, always used some oil. At 40,000 miles it used 1 guart on 4000 miles and got worse. Vehicle now has 120,000 miles and uses 2 quarts on a 600 mile trip. The oil was checked when we stopped for gas etc and oil was added never let car go below 1 gt low. Iam a long time Toyota owner and will never buy another one. It seems even the quality of the interior is poor and shoddy, on cars made in the USA. I also have a Echo 2001good car made in Japan.
