Been searching for quite a while for a new
car. And became tired of the emphasis on
luxury. I wanted a car to make me feel alive
when I drive. This car has a great sounding
engine and, although power is sacrificed for
fuel economy, the rage is there when I want
it. Initially, I was wary of the 6 speed, but in
my experience, it is a breeze to shift and
much tighter than the c230K and saab93.
Because of it's control I feel much safer in it
than my clunky old SUV. This car trades off
raw enthusiam when I want with fuel sipping
economy while maintaing an excellent
I initially fell in love with this car for its looks. And now that I have driven it, the love has just increased. The beauty isnt just skin deep :) I love the way this car handles and especially corners. The sound of the screaming engine when the car redlines at abt 8300 is also very pleasing. The best part is that you snugly fit into your seet and it feels like the car is growing out of you and is a part of you. Everyting is within easy reach. However, I the sunroof is already squeaking, the exterior door handles buzz with the bass from the music system and something is rattling near the muffler. I am a little disappointed at the famed Toyota build quality.
This Celica gets more stares and
comments then any car I have ever owned.
Kind of funny to see a 58 year old
women driving it I guess, from young
kids to adults it is an eye catcher, and
handles great. My husband talked me
into buying it, at first I was not sure
and now I am glad I did!
New Celica GTS w/ the Action Package.
So far, very fun to drive. In just a
few days I've had numerable
compliments. I'm sure as it is a Toyota
it will be little trouble.
Fantastic value / fun per dollar. Eye-
catching fun sports car with every
option for about 25k.
Cockpit position - everything is
exactly where the driver needs it.
The action package is very attractive
and a great addition for the money.
JBL sound system is very good. Handling
and driving are very good, especially
with the 16" wheels. As long as you
aren't expecting Mustang GT/V8
