Used 2006 Toyota Avalon Consumer Reviews
Owner profile LIMITED EDITION with Nav.
Unable to obtain the 31 mpg unless driving on an un-impeded highway. Low speed (up to 15 m.p.h.) engine noise, high speed--excessive tire noise. Lighting on some controls not adequate or not available on some of the controls at all. Learning the navigation system is extremely difficult. My prior car was an Acura TL-S type with NAV. It was much easier to learn and operate. Side door and panels have no ding protection.
Love it
This is what I wanted, Luxury with the quality of a Toyota. Limited is the way to go.

As good as it gets.
If you're looking for the most car for your money, then look no further than the Toyota Avalon. To get all the features that you get in this car is unheard of. A 280 hp V-6 engine that still gets 31 mpg on the hwy? Air bags galore? Reclining rear seats? WOW. This car blows the doors off of the Infiniti that I was driving.
"Simply The Best"
This is without a doubt the quietest, smoothest riding vehicle I have ever owned. It has excellent power and handling. My daily commute is now a pleasure. I would say this vehicle is comparable to the Lexus LS430 in the aspectd of roominess, ride, quiteness. Appointments, fit & finish are also comparable, but the price is NOT.
Luxury for Less
One young co-worker said, "I was wondering who owned this beautiful car, i would like to own a car like this when i can afford it." Everywhere i drive people stop and stae. My wife's coworkers are all jealous. This car is such a joy to drive. My four-year-old granddaughter refuses to ride in any other car.
