2005 Toyota Avalon XL 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 5A)

Review

I owned an Avalon for almost 8 years and I truly liked it. However, the new model is a tremendous improvement in exterior and interior design; it has great confort features (T control on both sides, control buttons on drive wheel, reclineable rear seats) and sound system (9 speakers), safety features, and a terrific 3.5 lt engine.

2005 Toyota Avalon Limited 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 5A)

Review

The Avalon is new and better than ever, with almost Lexus-like Styling, Lexus-like luxury, and Lexus- like Power, no wonder it is great

Best Features

280 hp engine. Incredible Limo-like interior space. Lexus,BMW-like Luxury, 7 Airbags, AutoStart, Bright interior gauges, power seats, windows, REAR Sunshade! 12 speaker JBL system that sounds magnificent, the best i have heard in any car.

Worst Features

Sometimes the Navigation system can lock up. fix that

2005 Toyota Avalon Limited 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 5A)

Review

Outstanding car. Was also looking at Cadillac but came across Avalon by chance. Took 1 test drive and never looked back. Great power, very roomy (including back seats) and spectacular dash design. Push-button start and door locks are best idea since the Model T. I will never go back to a "key" car again. Absolutely the best luxury car value on the market.

Best Features

Push-button start & door locks. Great sound system. POWER. Reclining rear seats (unheard of in a sedan).

Worst Features

Ride is great but a little noisy when going over concrete (nonblacktop) roads.

2005 Toyota Avalon Limited 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 5A)

Review

I test drove one of these (Limited & Fully-loaded). It's hot. Way better than the plain models before it. It's got speed, it's smooth, and you could practically live in this spacious, and wonderful car. This one came with an awesome sound system and dual dvd head- rest. I passed a maxima (that tried to race me) in flying colors. Toyota really did it this time. I would buy this before the 2005 Lexus GS I feel in love with, plus the 2006 GS is messed up for as exterior styling.

Best Features

Sound system, dvd players, navigation system, and lot's of wood grain...

Worst Features

Rear sunshade, 300-350 hp upgrade, one touch keyfob button that could start the car and let windows/sunroof down/back, and maybe upgrade the 360 watt system to 420 watts.

2005 Toyota Avalon Limited 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 5A)

Review

I traded down to an Avalon Limited from a BMW 330I. As it turns out it wasn't that far down. I'm actually seeing more and more that this car has a lot going for it. Better gas mileage, no premium gas, it's pretty quick and a good sound system.

Best Features

Sound system, overall performance, the finish detail and it looks good. Rear cabin design is far superior to the BMW. Much easier to get in and out (front and back) of the Avalon for the average person.

Worst Features

Wheel and tire design. Wheels could be more appealing and tires could have a bit wider profile on the Limited.
