2004 Toyota 4Runner Limited 4WD 4dr SUV (4.7L 8cyl 5A)

Review

For 5 years I drove a Cadillac
Seville. I really liked its pep and
comfort. On the highway or in town,
the 4-Runner Limited has it beat hands
down plus I have the added feature of
comfort in the National Forrests and on
logging roads.

Best Features

Navigation system with the camera/monitoring for backing. 1 person can hook up a trailer.

Worst Features

More power points front & rear and more storage areas.

2004 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Rwd 4dr SUV (4.0L 6cyl 4A)

Review

I like the performance of the 4runner
compared to my Ford Explorer. The 3rd
row seats are terrible. They are cheap
looking and poorly designed. I dont
use them anyway, however if someone
intends to... they are intended for
young children only.

Worst Features

3rd row seats that are intended for adults. the sight out of the rear view mirrir is obstructed by the head rests even after lowering them.

edge and fish.

Vehicle skid control, X-reas suspension, ABS, ease of operation, A/C with auto temp, steering wheel mounted radio controls,

Worst Features

Make double decker cargo system easily removable

2004 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Rwd 4dr SUV (4.0L 6cyl 4A)

Review

Like it better than the '01 Audi A4 I
traded in on it. Gas mileage is better
than expected at 18.2 (based on my own
calculations, but close to the
display's 18.1). Plenty of top in
power with great passing
ability...surprised me actually that
the acceleration is as good as it is.
Really enjoy driving it!!! Also,
totally recommend Toyota of Orange in
Southern California

Best Features

Dash layout, rear roll-down window, Cargo room, horsepower

Worst Features

More TRD parts (where's the supercharger for the V6????)

2004 Toyota 4Runner Limited Rwd 4dr SUV (4.7L 8cyl 5A)

Review

Wanted a BMW X5 4.4 but also wanted
proven reliability and piece of mind.
The 4runner with XREAS, v8 and mated
to the silky smoothe 5spd were good
enough. Also do not have to worry
about an extened warrenty given Toyota
reliability. Getting 18mpg with
suburban and 20+ highway driving. Very
happy with purchase.

Best Features

The leather interior, quite ride, and smoothe engine and drivetrain.

Worst Features

Two more inchs of leg room in front and rear. More cargo capacity. More power output from the JBL Navigation and bulit in CD changer. memory for power seats. Dealers that do not waste time haggling when you show them the Edmunds TMV price.
