2003 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4WD 4dr SUV (4.7L 8cyl 5A)
Unbelievable. Excellent SUV with
plenty of power and "foo-foo" stuff
for comfort. Loaded my SR5 with
leather, premium sound, etc. and still
paid $1000 below invoice!!! Previous
Jeep owner and this truck BLOWS it out
of the water!
Premium 6 disc in dash system!
Back window that goes down!!
Rear-seat audio is the bomb!
Add lights to ALL window switches.
Keyless remote needs a power UP for
the back window...not just DOWN!
2003 Toyota 4Runner Sport Edition 4WD 4dr SUV (4.7L 8cyl 5A)
Have owned the 2003 4Runner since last
November, and have continually been
impressed with it. The price was fair,
it's built closer the way a SUV is
supposed to be built (solid frame, sold
axle(s), ground clearance, low range,
limited slip, etc), and it can tow a
decent amount. I've been off-road a
few times, and it performs well. I've
towed a good number of times, usually
about 3500 pounds, and it does so
without complaint. It's a highly
recommended vehicle on my list.
It should be noted that we did
experience a length list of early-
V8 power, stout frame
Would be nice to have max torque output
at a lower RPM. Also, interior could
stand to use a lot less painted
