2003 Toyota 4Runner Sport Edition Rwd 4dr SUV (4.0L 6cyl 4A)

Review

The most fun I have had in a SUV. Had a
Nissan and an Isuzu before but 4Runner
is the best yet. Forget the American
name brand SUVs.

Best Features

Interior design of dash and its set up. Plenty of room in the front seat area. Body style.

Worst Features

More leg room in the back seat area.

2003 Toyota 4Runner Limited 4WD 4dr SUV (4.7L 8cyl 5A)

Review

Had 14 new vehicles in 30 years this
is the best ever owned. Traded my 98
4runner. Own a 01 vette and have hard
time deciding which to drive. 4Runner
is very pleasing to drive.

Best Features

Comfort and power.

Worst Features

Improve gas milage only 14.8 average and memory setting for seats.

IT'S GREAT, HAVE DRIVEN 94 PATHFINDER,

THEM LEAKED FROM THE TRANSFER CASE.
I GOT MY MONEY BACK, AND WENT AND BOUGHT
A NEW 4 RUNNER SPORT V/6
IT IS AWESOME, MUCH NICER IN EVERY
RESPECT

Best Features

TOO MANY TO LIST, EVERY DAY, I GET IN AND AM THRILLED (I AM IN THE CAR BUSINESS, HIGH END EXOTICS)

Worst Features

MAYBE A LITTLE MORE AERO WORK TO QUIET MIRRORS AND SUNROOF

2003 Toyota 4Runner Sport Edition 4WD 4dr SUV (4.0L 6cyl 4A)

Review

What can I say, this SUV is great! Very
comfortable ride and excellent
handling. The V6 has plenty of get up
and go...and great gas mileage! (for an
SUV) A smooth shifting automatic
transmission. Excellent breaking. Quiet
and well appointed interior. Test drive
one, you'll be happy you did!

Best Features

The V6 engine has plenty of power and is very responsive. The X-reas suspension has a firm, smooth ride and excellent handling! Never feels tippy, even when pushed. The adjustable seats and telescopic steering wheel make it easy to find that sweet spot.

Worst Features

Minor ones: Window button placement. Double decker cargo shelf is useless, never gets used. If you have your front seats pushed all the way back (tall people) when folding the rear seats for extra cargo space, those low profile head rests will still hit the bottom cushion!

2003 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4WD 4dr SUV (4.0L 6cyl 4A)

Review

What a blast. The best of both
worlds. Great on the highway and
AWESOME off the paved highway.I
was tired of my Blazer and Grand
Cherokee getting doors and
scratches from the brush.
CLADDING BABY, one of the
reasons I bought it. The V-6 has
torque to spare in 4 Wheel Lo. Toyota
has a winner on the new motor
design. MPG is fair for such a high
compression engine. Using the DAC
in sticky situations is UNREAL.
For the money (under 30,000),
nothing touches this. Dorado Gold
with the Grey Cladding. This is a
sophisticated monster on and off
road...

Best Features

The 4Runners overall look , THE GREY CLADDING, 4X4, DAC, 245HP in a V-6, Electronic rear hatch lock, Rear window rolls down, Climate Control, The hidden compartment in the glove box!!! My Service techs at Hollywood Toyota

Worst Features

Bring back grey cladding. Make Fog lamps an accessory. Seperate the Gas and Hood release. Choose Bose as your Stereo of choice. My wifes 2003 Altimas Standard Stereo blows the doors off the 4Runners Standard Stereo.
