His handling of his role in our purchase was outstanding at four stages of the process: 1. We began our search for a new vehicle with the general idea that we wanted another Toyota, but we had a limited understanding of the diversity of options available to us. Gohar demonstrated compete mastery of the different Toyota brands, trim lines, optional features, and costs. We were amazed by the fact that we never asked Gohar a question that he was unable to answer on the spot, and I’m a person who asks a lot of questions! We began our search unsure of whether to buy a Sienna or a Highlander, and we had no idea what trim level would satisfy our current needs. By the time we selected our Highlander Hybrid XLE, we were confident that it was the right choice for us, and we understood why. 2. Shortly after we received an offer from Ourisman Toyota for a vehicle to be delivered at a future date, we received a competing offer from a second dealer. Gohar the led his dealership’s development of a counteroffer that retained our business. 3. Once we were satisfied with Ourisman’s counteroffer, I requested a meeting to discuss the specifics of costs for add-ons like extended warranty and gap insurance, as well as available financing options. The member of the sales team with whom I met was not Gohar and he was not a Finance Manager. That staff member’s refusal to discuss any of the specifics that I was interested in caused me to walk out of that meeting convinced that we would be buying elsewhere. However, Gohar followed me to my car and identified a path forward that we could take, in cooperation with him, to give the dealership a chance to regain our trust. At the time, I was angry and unconvinced, but a follow-up phone call from Gohar convinced me to do my part so that he could do his. As a result, I had a more successful and more satisfying conversation about costs and financing with a more cooperative member of the sales team. 4. Just as the vehicle we were waiting for was about to be delivered to Ourisman, we received a second competing offer for a very similar vehicle from a third dealer.     Dealer Review:

    many problems; (1) internet inventory does not distinguish between pending delivery and on-the-lot (2)typical capitalism with dealer markup (3) negotiated "discount" (what dealer called the removal of markup)had to insist twice (markup was $3500) first removal was $3000, 2nd was remaining $500 (4)next emailed price showed removal of markup but miraculously now contained a fee of $1995 for dealer applied "appearance package", which I took offense too. At this point salesperson said this package was negotiable concerning price but only at the dealership, which I refused because more than an hour away with no guarantee. That was the last straw !!!!

Efficient, Smooth, Stylish SUV

2022 Toyota Venza LE 4dr SUV AWD (2.5L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)
10,000 Mile Update: After 7 months/10,000 miles, still happy with the purchase. The MPG has ranged between 41-45 mpg in suburban driving and 35-39 mpg on the Interstate measured at the pump. After living with the Venza for 7 months, IMO, it is best suited for singles, couples without children, or families of four or less without small children. Cargo is fine for our purposes but if we … had small children with strollers and other bulky items I would go with the Sienna for increased cargo capacity. It's efficient in city/suburban driving with a good view of the road. The Venza excels on road trips. It’s quite, the ride is composed, the driver's seat is comfortable, there is plenty power, excellent mpg, it has radar cruise control with lane keeping assist, and it's heavy and aerodynamic enough not to get pushed around in the wind. The result is you do not become as fatigued on long drives. The ultimate road trip vehicle! Cons: Cargo - fine for groceries, ect, but not enough for bulky items without the rear seats down. Also, very large people over 6 2' may find head room limited. Anyone 6 2' and under should be fine. Original Review: After giving my 2016 Prius to a family member, I needed a new ride. The Prius was an excellent car but I wanted a change. The Venza has many attributes that make the Prius great; made in Japan reliability, efficient hybrid power train (44 mpg in suburban FL driving/37 on the interstate), and unique Japanese styling. The Venza a/k/a Harrier, like the Prius, is a Japanese market car. The Japanese styling aesthetic appeals to my taste so couldn’t be happier with the look of the car. The Venza is quick ( 0 to 60 in 7.6 seconds), quiet and a great highway cruiser. It’s relatively roomy but easy to handle. The LE trim has buttons and knobs so it avoids the complaint of no knobs on the higher trims. The LE’s 18 inch wheels also make for better ride. Very happy with the purchase. It’s like an updated early 2000s Lexus RX. The Venza is perfect for someone looking for practical, reliable, AWD transportation with some luxury elements.
