2004 Suzuki XL-7 EX III Rwd 4dr SUV (2.7L 6cyl 5A)

Review

I already own a Large SUV, but needed
a more compact alternative for work.
I love this car, the price was right,
it has the room for work materials
(I'm in Sales)and my golf clubs, it
gets better mileage, it's sporty, has
great interior features and looks like
a Mini Toyota Landcruiser. This is a
cool SUV.

Best Features

Sleek exterior, great looking interior.

Worst Features

Powered front seats, more storage for CD's, loose coins. Wider cup holders with adjusters

2004 Suzuki XL-7 LX Rwd 4dr SUV (2.7L 6cyl 5M)

Review

I have had so many compliments on this
Vehicle, hour nice looking it is how
sharp it looks, the sound system, the
price etc.
I thought driving a SUV would be like
driving a bus, however it is easy to
handle and has a smooth ride.
I am very happy with the vehicle.

Best Features

The sound system, the interior design.

Worst Features

The leg room in the 3rd seating could be a little bit roomier.

2004 Suzuki XL-7 EX III 4WD 4dr SUV (2.7L 6cyl 5A)

Review

This is a great car for young families
(w/kids 0 to five) that, for whatever
reason, do not want to buy a minivan.
I honestly believe that if you
want/can compromise on a few features,
it's a great value. When doing my
research I was comparing this vehicle
with Ford Explorer and Toyota
Highlander. When you throw in all
the features included in the XL-7's EX
III package and compare with these
other two, you are getting a lot more
for your money. One item people asked
me a lot about was engine hp, I find
the 185 hp V6 engine is adequate. You
have to realize that this car is about
650 lbs lighter than a Ford Explorer
Eddie Bauer, which comes w/std. 210 hp
V6.

Best Features

The 3rd row seat, where u can fit two car seats (unlike Highlander, XL-7 has safety latches for 3rd row) to leave 2nd row for uncles/grandparents during long trips. Other favorites are car-like ride, easy parking, and std pwr sunroof, rear a/c, leather, & side step running brds.

Worst Features

If Suzuki could make this car slightly wider, give it a little more power - while keeping/improving mpg - and a larger fuel tank, they would be in serious business. The XL-7 would give any midSUV a good run for their money as is, and if you are willing to compromise you will save big.

Review

Does everything well: handles, rides,
easy to drive, hauls, pulls. Pricing is
though to beat. Tried many others, but
this one fitted like a glove. RPM too
high at highway speed though engine is
smooth and quiet. Good quality fabrics
and plastics. Don't have 3rd row
therefore 2nd row should slide rearward
a bit more. A bit too thursty for a
small V6. Hatchdoor swings on the wrong
side, should have lift glass to
compensate. GOOD ventilation. Truly
civilized for an offroader. Not the
vehicule your neighbours will apreciate
but boy you sure will.

Best Features

Gadgets, smooth ride, confident handling/braking, fit and finish, versatile and affordable. Took 15 minutes to learn how to drive this thing opposed to a co-worker who took 3 months the get the feel of her Santa Fe.

Worst Features

Power driver seat. Bigger seats for taller folks. Make the door swing the right way. Better fuel economy while increasing HP. Part time 4X4, full time 4X4 would make this truck an unbeatable package.

Review

i purchase it in janurary of 2004 and
have 12000 miles on it i'm very pleased
with the suv and am thrilled to drive
it on long road trips. i enjoy the
roomness of the three rows of seat. i
also like the idea of folding the seat
down when i'm making a trip to be able
to lay out fully in the back. i bring a
blanket and pillow and take a nap will
on the highway. i also love the rear
a/c that allows the passangers to
conrtol how much a/c they want. i've
taken several trip's from new orleans
to nashville and dallas and have est.
24 miles to the gallon. i researced
this suv against outher's like the
kia , hynudia,toyota and rear a/c is
optional .

Best Features

i'm impressed with the looks of the XL- 7.the price was $18,600 which i really enjoyed. thier is n't much they can do to make the XL-7 a better suv for the money. all other small suv were $2,000 3,500 more. i have the sliky silver which i really love cause it doesn't show it being dirty

Worst Features

i'm thinking of buying another one and trade in my volvo 850 overall it's a great priced suv for what u get and thier isn't any hidden charges like $295 paint protectent. or $95 for floor matts. so again i love my XL-7, and would and will buy another maybe the blue one.
