2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek Premium 4dr SUV AWD (2.0L 4cyl CVT)

I owned an FJ Cruiser and went to the Crosstrek because of it's advertised fuel mileage. In the beginning it was getting 28-30 mpg, now it is 2 months old with 3,000 miles and it just barely gets 20 mpg. I should have kept my FJ, it may have only gotten 16 mpg but at least it was built like a tank.

I also have an FJ and was looking at this car because of the gas mileage. If you could would you go back to the FJ? The mileage is really bad in the FJ.

I have the same issue with dropping mileage. I have almost 4,000 miles on my Crosstrek and it gets only 26 highway and struggles to get 18 city. I got rid of my Jeep Liberty for this car based on fuel mileage. I was getting about 23 highway and 17 city with the jeep. now I'm stuck spending about the same on gas on top of higher insurance and a car payment.
