Edmunds's Josh Sadlier takes you on a walk around Subaru's 2017 Impreza Sedan. He goes over specs, design, the interior and more.
Key to the changes on the new Impreza is an all-new chassis that Subaru says will underpin all of its future models. On the Impreza, the new structure results in a 1-inch-longer wheelbase on both the sedan and the hatchback compared to the previous model. Both models are also 1.6 inches longer overall and 1.5 inches wider. Subaru also claims that increased stiffness will result in improved overall handling and safety protection. The new architecture is designed to make the Impreza more competitive against such mainstream models as the Chevrolet Cruze, Ford Focus and Honda Civic.
