I expect to put about 250,000 miles on
this car at a rate of 50,000 miles per
year driving the car for business. If
you don't mind a taut suspension, the
car accelerates briskly and handles
brilliantly regardless of weather or
road conditions. I used to drive a 99
Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT and this car is
much livelier although the suspension
is less forgiving on rough pavement. If
reliability, AWD and the "fun-to-drive"
factor are high priorities for you,
then give this car serious
consideration. Its back seat is cramped
for adults but can be used for smaller
children. If you want a more sedate
ride, then check out a Legacy.
AWD, performance and handling,
reliability and Subaru reputation.
Note - Subaru of America repaired an
A/C compressor on my 99 Legacy--outside
of the warranty period--because they
felt that it shouldn't have failed.
Subaru earned a customer for life!
Have options, which should be standard,
such as fog lights, the extended
armrest and the spoiler port installed.
Subaru should be embarrassed by the way
their otherwise excellent dealers try
to gouge for installing options.

All i can say is that for the money
this car is excellent. I think for any
price this car is a good choice because
it can be driven all year long. If you
need only one car this should be it. I
was considering a 911, boxster,
corvette, and M3 but they all require a
separate car for the winter. Besides,
after driving them all i came away more
impressed with the power, grip, and
