I really like this car...though, i'm
pretty biased. It's quick, fun to
drive, handles great...super tight.
The interior is sleek and the 6-Disk
in dash is very nice. If the engine
holds up for another 200,000 miles
i'll have lived a happy life.
Speed, handle, bug-eye headlights,
momo stearing wheel (never thought i'd
have one of those), 6-disk cd changer.
More storage compartments in the back
to put tools, gear, etc.
This car is great fun and the best
sport sedan value on the market. It's
AWD makes it rock in the snow and rain
and it's turbo-boosted engine make it
one of the quickest cars on the market.
It surpasses my BMW 530i for
accelleration (the Bimmer has a higher
and smoother top end) and beats my 4WD
SUV for traction. It has a back seat
for friends and family and is much more
practical then Subaru lets on.
Accelleration, traction, cockpit
layout. This car lacks some finer
appointments but makes up for it in
design. It is designed for the driver
and is pure driving pleasure.
Options. More plush. Sound system is
weak - even premium.
My previous car was a Honda that went
for 400K miles. A hard act to follow.
The WRX is a hoot to drive and in wagon
form is very practical as a daily
The WRX's handling is amazing,
especially with 17" rims and high
performance tires. Driving this car in
the winter gives you a sense of
security and safety.
To gripe about something, the WRX is
very addictive. You get accustomed to
what it does. The WRX is so smooth and
competent, that it starts to feel
slow. Thankfully there is an abundance
of aftermarket performance options.
I can't recommend the WRX highly
enough, unless you are into spending
10K to 15K more for "prestige".
Handling. AWD. 5 speed Shifter (very
positive and smooth). Ergonomics --
simple and well designed. Seats.
Reliability. Bat out Hell speed.
Excellent highway manners. Stealthy.
Heated seats as an option. OEM gauge
package that includes a factory turbo
gauge. HID lights.
SUBARU -- make a STI WAGON!! I'd buy
one in a second.
This car is a blast to drive! The speed
quotient is one thing, but the handling
is outstanding. Only an old Porsche
356b that I had in the seventies
handled better. The comfort to drive is
based on your size, age and ability to
handle a very firm ride. Go for it!
Handling, all wheel drive, engine
Widen the sport seats a tad for people
with life-sized thighs.
