This is the first Subaru I have own
prior to this it has been Acura and
I feel the realiability and coustomer
service that Acura and Toyota provide
is a cut above Subaru.
This car has great power, handling, and
seats. It's great to drive, but 4th
gear synchros went out at about 23,500
miles, were replaced under warranty,
and now, 2000 miles later, the 1st and
4th gear synchros are both out and the
car is in the shop right now under
warranty. It makes no sense that the
new ones wouldn't last as long as the
original ones. They aren't replacing
the tranny, just repairing.

The suboofer is plenty for myself, but
for serious noise, look aftermarket.
The spoier is beautiful, but the short
throw shifter is of questionable value
on this car.
My first turbo car, the lag is
definately noticeable, but doesn't get
in the way if you keep the revs up. Its
a hoot to blast through the turns, and
has been a joy in rain, snow, and ice

Overall I really love this car. Its a
blast and I'd reccomend a test drive to
- 227 Horsepower
- All-Wheel Drive
- Great cornering
- Pretty good upgraded stereo
- Beefier exterior paneling
- Could use a fold-down back seat for
more cargo room in the sedan.
- Debateable asthetics
I'm in my 50s and wanted a fun car to
drive in all kinds of traffic
conditions. The WRX is a huge
improvement in speed and handling from
my departed Infiniti G20t and our
existing Legacy GT. This car is the
bargain of the century....
