2002 Subaru Impreza Sedan WRX AWD 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 5M)

Review

Very nice sport sedan for the
money...best in practicality and
performance...for the money. With
40,000 miles on the car now...only had
problems with driver side power widow
(fixed) under warranty. Car still feels
new and solid. Paid list for the
car...no regrets... I still love
driving it and feel good after driving
it.

Best Features

Turbo engine, AWD, Seats, in-dash 6 cd changer

Worst Features

brakes (soft pedal and average stopping distance), suspension (jittery of rough surface, slightly too much roll and understeer), low end torque, rims and tires (ugly rims and sub-par tires).

2002 Subaru Impreza Sedan WRX AWD 4dr Sedan (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 5M)

Review

I love my WRX! It's fun to drive, easy
to handle, and very reliable. As a
mom, I needed a 4-door, but I was not
going to sell a Porsche for a Camry.
The suspension is stiff, the turning is
tight.

Best Features

My favorite feature is its safety features and safety record. It's great to know that in the event of an accident, they have side impact airbags as well as driver and passenger.

Worst Features

It still feels like an econo-box type car, but what do you expect with 227 hp for that price?!

Review

I bought this car after carefully
research of cars under 30k, which
included BMW 330ci and Lexus IS 300. By
far, it is worth the bang for the bucks
I paid. Excellent acceleration and
handling but drifts while cornering. It
is a joy to drive and have racked up
13k miles in under 8 months.Awesome
handling in snow and rain...
Planing a trip across America this
summer hope to c'ya all...
Ciao

Best Features

The engine. It never quit's in any gear...aLways gives me what I want....more power and speed....Very comfortable to drive...

Worst Features

GAS MILEAGE!!!!! and PAINT JOB...

Review

Timing belt tensior went out at 10500
miles.
Intermittent clutch shudder that has
worsened with increasing milage.
Difficulty with getting dealers to do
warranty work. Or admitting the car has
a problem

Best Features

Power AWD

Worst Features

SOA needs to be more responsive to consumer complaints and concerns about their cars. This is the first Subaru I have own prior to this it has been Acura and Toyota. I feel the realiability and coustomer service that Acura and Toyota provide is a cut above Subaru.
