This car has been the most reliable car I have ever owned. I am approaching 250,000 miles, and the only problem I've had was wheel bearings.(twice same wheel). I'm not one to change the oil every 2,000 mile, and I am very rough with it. I would recommend a Subaru to anyone who asks.

Even though i have the FWD version, the car still has alot of traction and is very fun to drive. I've put many many miles on this car, totalling about 120K miles...that's on top of the original 45K miles! Subaru parts are very interchangable between models. I upgraded to WRX wheels/tires and it looks and handles great.

Best Car I Ever Bought

It's only drawback is that it has doesn't have much power if you're going up a steep hill. Other than that it's perky to drive. I love small cars, but wanted four doors and and a decent sized trunk - this car has both. It has only had average problems for a car of it's age. All in all a very eliable car.

This vehicle is unbelievablly reliable. I've only had to replace the battery once, just recently, and fixed the right cv joint. This car has had no other problems & my overall maintenance expense has been minimal. I love this car & will keep it until the end, if the end ever comes!

Good Bang for the Buck

The car is seriously under powered. The fuel economy should be higher for such a small (and weak) car. I got it used. Had to put $1100 into the car for misc. repairs, now the engine sounds really sweet. The car has 144K miles on it and I'm hoping that it'll make it to 200K. It's looking good now.
