Driver's Seat bad for back or knee pain

2010 Subaru Forester 2.5X Premium 4dr SUV AWD (2.5L 4cyl 4A)

Driven 1600+ miles. I like this car - but it can be very uncomfortable for a person with back or knee pain. I would like ARM RESTS and padding where a guys knees hit the left door and the console. It's rock hard A tilt steering wheel would be good. The moon roof is fantastic - and the driver's visibility is super. It is a pleasure to drive in the rain. It's not as smooth riding as I expected, but very surefooted. I might have been more comfortable in a Honda but the Subaru is faster (up to 130 mph!) As long as you don't need a comfortable driver's seat for your back or knee this is a GREAT car. I made a You Tube video about the seat problems and how to work around them

Best Features

Very fast for a 4cyl, I like the AWD, moonroof, it's visibility and handling in rain. Steers great, I almost hit a dog on the Interstate and the Forester sidestepped it like perfectly. Please redesign the front seats.

Worst Features

The driver's seat is hard on a guy's back and knees - go to You Tube and look for a video for people with back and knee pain. It shows the padding I am putting into the knee and arm rests. Otherwise, a fantastic vehicle. I have not been off road with it ... yet
