Purchased a 2025 Crosstrek 6/9/2025 for weekend trips. The infotainment system is sluggish but worst of all the GPS. which is part of the infotainment system, does not recalculate or work properly. I found via google that this is a known Subaru issue. I will call Haldeman's Subaru on Monday 7/12/25 to see if there's a software update or if there is something that can be done. If its possible to fix I will update,

Review Update - I've had this vehicle 6+ months. Huge buyer remorse. Never another Subaru. The night before an important road trip, all warning lights went off, including engine light. I had to miss my trip and spent 6 hrs at Subaru getting service. It took a lot for them to figure out what was wrong. There seemed to be CO2 leak. In the end, a sensor was faulty and had to be replaced. Warranty covered expense but there is no compensation for my time and me missing an important event. This should not have happened to a new vehicle.

Love this well appointed car, excellent ride and gas mileage as well as reliability I also own a Outback and will always continue to purchase Subaru vehicles

There are two things I can’t STAND about my brand new Crostrek and they both involve the infotainment system: (1) I just moved to a new city/state/region and so rely on the Google map App ALOT! And it is a Constant car wreck, telling me to turn one way, then make a U-Turn and then turn the orher way; telling me the posted soeed is one thing JUST as I pass a posted sign with a different speed; always telling me to “pass X street, and then turn right on X street”, and so on. The worst part is that the Google Map App keeps disappearing and so I only get audio but no visual. The problem I’m told is that with “CarPlay” both Subaru and Iphone want to be the leader and the decider! (2) The second thing I HATE is that I CANNOT turn on the radio and tune in a station ( e.g. NPR, or even just “ news”) without being told tgat I need to buy an Apple Music subscription ! WTF?!! It’s MY car, not Apple’s!😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
Too loud on the highway

Car seating, driving, visibility breaking and acceleration is good. But the highway it becomes too loud and one will wonder if there are any windows open. One cannot enjoy music due to this reason. My CX-5 for the same price is way better.
