2006 Subaru Baja Sport 4dr Crew Cab AWD SB (2.5L 4cyl 5M)

Review

This useful little truck is a great conversation piece and says a lot about me and the things I do. If you need a big truck, buy a big truck. If you need a fast car, buy a fast car. If you need some of both, but only have room in your driveway for one, get the Baja. It pwns.

Best Features

Unique, fun design, great handling, lots of options, extremely handy. You'll always be prepared.

Worst Features

Sport model is a little sluggish, stock sound system leaves something to be desired, and the "switchback" door could be wider. But this car is sweet.

2006 Subaru Baja Sport 4dr Crew Cab AWD SB (2.5L 4cyl 5M)

Review

This truck with the options for the bed extender does everything I want it to do. It drives like a car and really hauls the stuff.

Best Features

Excellent gas mileage and quality.

Worst Features

Rear glass could open on cab.

2006 Subaru Baja Sport 4dr Crew Cab AWD SB (2.5L 4cyl 5M)

Review

Enough power for a stock drivetrain. Good on gas (hwy). About 400 miles to the tank. Could be a little more comfortable, but the car is equipped nicely.

Best Features

AWD is most useful. Especially in the snow or off road. The ability to manually shift the transmission makes it easier to keep control .Turbo gives the four cylinders more power to move the almost 2-ton car. With out turbo, I'd expect the car to be a slug.

Worst Features

Turbo lag is an important issue to be looked at. A lack of "off the line" power. It takes the car a long time to get moving when I floor the throttle. It starts to accelerate, but real slow, then picks right up after about two seconds. It makes me not like the car. I want it to do what I want, when I want.
