2026 Subaru Outback Touring XT 4dr SUV AWD (2.4L 4cyl Turbo CVT)
I purchased a 2026 Subaru Outback Touring XT several weeks ago. This is my 7th (or maybe 8th) Outback, The electronics have been significantly upgraded and I like the return of the buttons for the climate controls. The Driver’s seat is more comfortable and the visibility seems to be better. It’s nice that Subaru added rain sensing wipers to this model. With all that said my … favorite features are the surround view camera and the front view camera that can be programmed to come on automatically at low speed.
I am not crazy about the new cargo cover. The driver distraction mitigation system seems to be a little more sensitive than necessary. Also you have to be careful not to say “Subaru” in car as it activates voice command system.
I was hesitate to trade in my 2025 Outback but now I am glad I did.
You get a lot of bang for your buck with this Subaru and it is improved in many ways.
