These impressive figures are achieved with optional dual rear wheels (DRW) — a feature the 2500 doesn't offer. However, both trucks share the same gas V8 and diesel engines.

The 3500's lineup ranges from a bare-bones work truck to the luxurious Limited and Limited Longhorn trims, although it lacks the off-road variants like the Rebel and Power Wagon that the 2500 offers. To maximize performance, Ram equips the 3500 with a leaf-spring rear suspension instead of the 2500's coil springs.
