Traction control does an excellent job of regulating wheelspin and after disabling it, I only managed to beat it by a couple tenths. Remarkably consistent performances and speed at the end of the quarter-mile. This is a subdued engine exhaust note considering the overall personality of the truck. Upshifts are smooth and quick at redline.
First stop was the longest by a considerable amount and pulled noticeably to the right. Subsequent stops less so, but they all did to some extent. Medium-firm pedal always, and less dive than I've observed in some other pickups and none of that choppy hopping that off-road tires sometimes cause in this test. The shortest stop was the third of four total stops.
Looking at the data itself doesn't tell the whole story here. The steering is remarkably crisp, reactive on initial turn-in, the truck changes direction obediently, takes a set well and even transitions back to the other side rather well. The tires, however, run out of grip before the truck runs out of chassis talent. Same story on the skid pad, where it maintains poise while absolutely murdering its tires. Steering weight and feedback might be called "light and vague" but I'm not sure I'd really like to know what's happening with those knobby front tires all the time.
